Upper and lower blepharoplasty with lower lid laser resurfacing

Before: The patient is a 63-year-old female who presents with brow ptosis and bilateral excess skin, upper and lower lids.

After: The patient is three months status post upper and lower blepharoplasty with adjunctive lower eyelid laser resurfacing. She reports doing well and is very pleased with her results. On examination, the incisions are clean, dry, and intact, and are healing appropriately with good early scar maturation. Overall healing appears to be progressing very well.

Blepharoplasty lower with lower lid tightening

Before: On examination, she has herniation of her lower eyelid fat. She has lid laxity and some excess skin of the lower lids.

After: Lori is here three months after lower lid blepharoplasty with laser resurfacing. She is very happy with her results. On examination, she has nice smooth contours of her lower lids. The excess skin and herniation is resolved.

Blepharoplasty

Before: A 50-year-old female presents with interest primarily in lower eyelid blepharoplasty. She is 5’3” tall, weighs 125 pounds, and has a BMI of 22.
On examination, there is herniation of fat in the lower eyelids, a common finding associated with the aging process. Facial assessment demonstrates minimal jowling and very little neck laxity for her age. However, mild platysmal banding is present in the neck without associated lower face jowling.

After: The patient is one year post–lower lid blepharoplasty with adjunctive laser resurfacing and reports being very pleased with her results.
On examination, the post-laser redness has fully resolved, and the skin appears smooth. Wrinkling of the lower eyelids has been markedly improved, with the majority of fine lines and rhytides effectively diminished.
