Breast Augmentation Gallery

Before: The patient is five feet three inches tall and weighs 146 pounds, with a body mass index (BMI) of 25.8. On examination, she has small breasts, approximately a B cup, and she expressed a desire to increase to a C or D cup.

After: 475 cc high-profile silicone implants were placed through transaxillary incisions. On examination, there is slight asymmetry, though it is barely noticeable. The breasts have a natural, pleasing shape with no signs of constriction. Nipple sensation remains intact, and the axillary incisions have healed well.

Before: On examination, the patient has a petite frame with minimal native breast tissue. There is no breast ptosis or skin stretch marks, and she has an adequate soft tissue layer to support augmentation. Based on her anatomy, she is an excellent candidate for breast augmentation. The patient trialed multiple implant sizers and preferred a 350 cc high-profile implant. The planned approach is transaxillary placement in the submuscular plane.

After: On examination, the patient demonstrates a pleasing breast shape with excellent symmetry. The incisions are well approximated and are expected to continue fading over time. The patient has 350 cc high-profile saline implants in place, contributing to her balanced and natural-appearing result.

Before: The patient is 5’4″ tall and weighs 167 pounds, with a BMI of 28.6. On examination, the left breast is slightly larger than the right. The left inframammary fold is approximately 0.75 cm more superiorly positioned compared to the right. Pinch test measurements are greater than 2.0 cm bilaterally. The nipple-to–inframammary fold distance measures 9.0 cm bilaterally, and breast width measures 16 cm bilaterally. There are no gross asymmetries, and the nipples are symmetric.

After: The patient underwent transumbilical breast augmentation with placement of 700 cc saline implants. On examination, there is good symmetry of the inframammary folds. Mildly increased superior pole swelling is noted on the left compared to the right. There is no significant ecchymosis. Prominent veins are developing bilaterally, and the umbilical incision is healing well.

Before: The patient is 5’5” tall, weighs 151 pounds, and has a BMI of 25.1. On examination, she demonstrates mild pseudoptosis.

After: The patient is three months status post breast augmentation with silicone implants and is demonstrating excellent postoperative results. Bilateral 475cc High Profile Silicone implants were placed.
On examination, the mild asymmetry present preoperatively is still subtly present but is not noticeable clinically. The implants are well positioned, and the patient has achieved a very pleasing and symmetrical breast contour.
