Before: The patient is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 189 pounds, and has a body mass index (BMI) of 31.5. On examination, he presents with fairly large breasts that extend toward the midline, making it likely that the surgical incision will cross the midline to achieve optimal contour and symmetry.
Lateral chest rolls are also present and will be addressed during the procedure to enhance the overall masculine chest contour.
After: On examination, the incisions have healed exceptionally well, with thin, flat scars. The nipple grafts have taken successfully, displaying even pigmentation. There are no dog-ear deformities bilaterally.
A total of 1,360 grams of tissue was removed from the left side and 1,125 grams from the right side, resulting in a balanced and natural chest contour.
