Double incision mastectomy, no nipples

Before: The patient is five feet three inches tall and weighs 134 pounds, with a BMI of 24.

After: On examination, his chest has a distinctly masculine contour. The incisions have healed well, and early chest hair growth is beginning to naturally camouflage the incision lines. Tissue removed measured 380 grams on the left and 430 grams on the right.

Before: The patient is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 256 pounds, and has a body mass index (BMI) of 40.1. On examination, he presents with large, pendulous breasts demonstrating bilateral Grade II ptosis. The planned incisions will likely cross the midline to achieve optimal contouring and symmetry.
Lateral chest rolls and back rolls are present, along with feminine fat pads.

After: On examination, the incisions are thin and flat, with no evidence of hypertrophy, erythema, induration, or hematoma formation. There is only minimal swelling noted.
A total of 2,900 grams of tissue was removed from the left side and 3,100 grams from the right side, resulting in a well-balanced and symmetrical chest contour.

Before: The patient is five feet ten inches tall and weighs 160 pounds, with a BMI of 22.9. They present with moderate-sized breasts and grade III ptosis. There is no significant lateral tissue or upper pole fullness. Their body habitus is slender with minimal axillary adiposity and well-defined musculature. The breasts sit relatively close at the midline.

After: On examination, the chest has a markedly masculine appearance. Incisions are clean, dry, and intact with no signs of infection. There is minimal residual back roll/dog-ear on the right side, which is only visible when his arm is in a neutral, down position.

Before: The patient is five feet one inch tall with a BMI of 25.7. She has small to moderate-sized breasts without ptosis. Skin turgor is good, and there is adequate elasticity to accommodate a double-incision approach.

After: On examination, the chest demonstrates a smooth, well-defined contour. Incisions are clean, dry, and intact with no signs of infection, and overall healing is progressing very well. There are no dog ears present. Tissue removed measured 765 grams from the left side and 730 grams from the right.

After: A total of 795 grams of tissue was removed from the left breast and 910 grams from the right breast.
