Before: The patient is five feet four inches tall and weighs 177 pounds, with a BMI of 30. The majority of adipose tissue is concentrated in the midsection, specifically between the breasts and the pubic region. She has a small amount of fat in the inner and outer thighs; however, the predominant fat distribution remains in the abdominal area. The abdomen exhibits numerous striae, and the adipose layer of the abdomen, waist, and hips measures approximately three inches in thickness.
After: At six months following Avelar abdominoplasty with liposuction of the waist and hips, the patient is extremely pleased with her results. She reports a high level of satisfaction with the improved contour and overall aesthetic outcome, reflecting a successful transformation and smooth postoperative course.

Before: The patient is five feet three inches tall and weighs one hundred seventy-two point four pounds, with a BMI of 28. On examination, there is a fairly thick layer of subcutaneous fat across the abdomen, and the patient is mildly overweight. There is also excess skin present in the abdominal area.
After: The patient is one year status post Avelar abdominoplasty with liposuction of the abdomen, waist, and hips. On examination of the abdomen, **no masses are palpated**. The **incisions are well-healed, clean, dry, and intact**, and the umbilical incision is also clean, dry, and intact.

Before: The patient weighs 210 pounds and, upon examination, demonstrates a significant abdominal panniculus. Due to the degree of excess skin and tissue present, surgical excision is recommended to remove the pannus and improve abdominal contour and comfort.
After: On examination, the abdominal incisions are clean, dry, and intact, with appropriate healing noted. The umbilicus is viable and well-perfused, with a healthy pink appearance. The abdomen is healing well overall, and the patient reports being very pleased with the results.
